One day a week, usually Wednesdays, we go into the open-air at one the collages here in Michigan. Recently it has been the University of Michigan. What the day normally looks like is this: we get to the university around 10:30 and set up the sketch board. While we wait for the major let out time (about once every 50 minutes for 20 minutes) we pass out gospel literature to those we walk by and maybe engage in conversations. Once the let out starts up we gather around the board while one of the guys preach. After a cute introduction, it leads into the gospel. At the end, we talk with those who have stayed or pass out more literature. A little while later the same thing happens. We run into all sorts of people; Jewish, Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Muslims, Atheists, Philosophically weird people, and many more. It has been great to see the fruit from this work, from seeing people come to Christ to encouraging the Christians who are students. Personally, it has stretched me further than I ever thought possible. The simplicity of the gospel continues to blow my mind. We are here on this earth to share it with others. What a privilege! We appreciate your prayers especially on these days, not only for us, but those on the campuses who need Christ.

Snow, Snow, and more Snow
Yes! There as been a lot of snow up here. Being from Georgia, both Becca and I have had a great time playing in it and we get excited each time it snows. The phrase Becca uses the most is "It's so beautiful!" It is so true. I have missed the warmth of the South, though. You do not know how much you appreciate something until you do not have it. It was in the 70's on Tuesday this week, but they are calling for more snow today. Many have told me, "That's Michigan for you."[Yes, that is Becca creaming me in the face with a snow ball.]

Motor Show

Today we (all the people at the Ezekiel Project) went to downtown Detroit to go to the North American car show. It was cool to look at all the cars. Personally, I am more interested in what they look like then ow much horse power they have. There were some crazy cars there, but also some really nice ones. Here are a few rondom cars for your viewing pleasure.
O Canada and Lake Erie

On Sunday, Becca, Brandon, and I went with Chris to Turner Road in Canada. It is always encouraging to meet the saints in different places (and countries!) After the morning meeting we went over to a families home for dinner. They live within walking distance of Lake Erie, so of course we had to take a walk in spite of the cold. It was lovely. Above are some pictures from by the lake.
Southern Culture Night
Last Friday night, we had a "Southern Culture Night" at the guys house. We invited a couple of the families from the chapel and all of TEP. The menu was complete with deer meat, collards, fried corn, mashed potatoes, corn bread, fresh salad, fried apples, and last, but not least, sweet tea. The fellowship was great. I enjoyed getting to know the families from the chapel better and they got to know a little about our culture, too! The Lord has been so good.
Richmond

On Friday, Becca and I walked into Richmond, the closet town to where we live. It was great catching back up with her and getting to know the people in the small town of Richmond. We learned so much history of the town and even had lunch at the local diner! It was cold, but the walking (and coffee) warmed us up.

Christmas Play
Last night I went to the children's Christmas play at believers. It was put on by the AWANA kids and leaders. It was a very simply, but impressive program. The differnet groups from AWANA (Cubbies, Sparks, T&T and the JV girs) got up and shared differnt verses, from mermory, about who Christ was and also His plan of salvation. The JV girls also came up with a skit and preformed it. At the end, all the kids were on the stage and told the story of the birth of Jesus Christ strictly from Bible verses; one child after the other. It was neat to be able to hear the story told in the plan and beautiful manner. Many vistitorsd were there to see their kids. May the Lord continie to work in the lives of all those who were there.

Home Sweet Home
Yeasterday, the 15th, I flew from Detroit Metro to Atlanta. It is soo good to be home, seeing family and friends who I have not seen in awhile. I will be going back to Michigan on the 8th of January, so I have a nice long break. Things have been busy recently, but that's the way I like it! As always, the Lord has been soo good. Have a blessed Chrsitmas!
